There are moments that stay with us forever. Sporting events that make our hearts race as we follow them through the media — and the voices that bring those moments to life.
About the Exhibition
The Tallinn TV Tower exhibition “Collected Moments” brings together the stories of three legendary Estonian sports commentators — Toomas Uba, Lembitu Kuuse and Raul Rebane — through their personal and professional belongings.
On display are accreditation passes, memorabilia and keepsakes from major competitions, now part of the Estonian Sports and Olympic Museum collection. These objects tell stories not only of great sporting events, but also of the eras in which they took place. They are fragments of sports history, filled with emotion, tension and joy — moments many of us have experienced through radio or television.
The exhibition offers a unique opportunity to step into the world of a sports commentator. As a special highlight, visitors can explore Lembitu Kuuse’s original commentary notes, offering insight into how a great sports broadcast comes to life.
In addition, Raul Rebane presents part of his personal collection of sports event mugs, reflecting years of dedication and presence on the international sports stage.
Among the exhibition items, you will find familiar names, dates and symbols from major competitions. Which of these moments do you remember? Where did you experience them?
The exhibition is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Estonian Public Broadcasting.
