✨ Come and experience how nothing becomes something, and the invisible becomes visible.
Starting from 17 April 2025, the Tallinn TV Tower presents the Mery Crystal Ra exhibition “INVISIBLE” – a solo show by the internationally acclaimed conceptual artist (born Meeli Kõiva).
This exhibition marks both the 45th anniversary of the TV Tower and the 65th birthday of the artist, rekindling the historic connection between Estonia’s tallest building and a pioneer of light and glass art.
Back in 1985, Mery Crystal Ra created a futuristic light and glass installation on the tower’s viewing platform – a work far ahead of its time, crafted from materials then only found in scientific laboratories. Though the legendary piece no longer exists, its memory lives on through “INVISIBLE”.
Mery Crystal Ra’s work is known for the fusion of light, movement, and technology, with each piece carrying a profound conceptual message. Her art has been exhibited at the European Parliament, UNESCO global events, and high-profile international conferences.
The “INVISIBLE” exhibition:
– invites you to explore the edges of light and space
– reveals energies and synergies of the unseen world
– is spread across several areas of the TV Tower, offering a multilayered experience
A reflection by Mery Crystal Ra on the exhibition:
nothing turns into something
the invisible is made visible
i am still chasing
after radical radiance
or the shiniest shining
is chasing after me
i seek the energies
i seek the synergies
between people
i seek the energies
which could make paper sheets fly
and i get the answers
from my dreams
at night
👉 The exhibition will remain open until the end of 2025.
