1st October International Music Day
On 1st October, International Music Day will be celebrated at Tallinn TV Tower. On this day, you can enjoy a performance by the ensemble ÖÖ32 Quartet, who will present music enthusiasts with a unique musical journey titled “Journey to the Nordic Islands.” The concert program lasts 50 minutes.
The ensemble ÖÖ32’s musical journey through time takes listeners deep into ancient Nordic mythology through folk music and traditions. During the journey you will explore various traditional folk cultures through music and the audience can experience centuries of wisdom through the ensemble’s unique sonic language. ÖÖ32 is an experimental new-era ensemble performing on classical string instruments, consisting of highly trained musicians and educators. Maria Goršenina and Adrián Bravo Lopez on violins, Merike Heidelberg on viola and Kristian Plink on cello. The ensemble’s vision is to convey timeless stories through the playing styles of different genres in the most contemporary and relatable form.
Admission to the concert is FREE. However, free tickets must be reserved through Fienta in advance. A maximum of four tickets can be ordered per purchase. We welcome guests to Tallinn TV Tower with their concert tickets from 5:30 PM onwards.
