Our Erika Open-Air Cinema | Sunset Edge Walk | TV Tower Theme Tour
As tradition continues, the Tallinn TV Tower courtyard will once again transform into an open-air cinema on 27 August at 9:00 PM. 🎬
This year’s outdoor cinema programme features the acclaimed Estonian biographical drama Our Erika.
“Everything is possible in life, even if you start with nothing. It all depends on you,” says Olympic champion Erika Salumäe, whose life is a remarkable story of determination, resilience, and the courage to overcome every obstacle.
On the evening of 27 August, her inspiring journey from an orphanage to Olympic glory comes to the Tallinn TV Tower, where visitors can enjoy this moving film under the open sky.
The free outdoor cinema evening begins at 9:00 PM. Before the screening, from 8:30–9:00 PM, the film’s director, German Golub, will meet the audience. Visitors can also experience a Sunset Edge Walk between 7:00 and 8:30 PM, offering spectacular panoramic views as the sun sets over Tallinn.
The film is presented by Tartu Elektriteater.
In the TV Tower courtyard, 75 beach chairs and blankets will be available for cinema guests. However, previous years have shown that there are always more movie lovers than chairs, so we recommend bringing your own picnic blanket, camping chair or cushion.
Just like last year, the ice cream kiosk in the TV Tower courtyard will offer popcorn, ice cream, as well as hot and cold drinks. If you prefer to enjoy your own favorite snacks during the movie, feel free to bring along a picnic basket.
A unique opportunity: Edge Walk into the sunset
Only on this evening, from 19:00–20:30, you can experience an Edge Walk at sunset – something that is not usually offered at this time of day. Come alone or bring along your bravest friends. Since Edge Walk times are limited, advance registration is required by e-mail: teletorn@teletorn.ee
Price:
• €45 / person
• €135 / 4 persons
