A Century of TV Legends. The Ladies of Estonian Television
These women and their voices stay with us for good. It is enough to close your eyes and recall one of their moments on screen. In the evening we switch on the television and wait for them to come into our homes through the screen. We trust them and we listen to them.

01 — OVERVIEW
The exhibition in brief
The Tallinn TV Tower exhibition “A Century of TV Legends. The Ladies of Estonian Television” brings to the viewer the women familiar and loved from Estonian Television screens across seven decades.
From the first television announcers to the presenters of news and talk shows today, these women have shaped Estonian television culture and been part of ordinary days and celebrations alike. Their voice, their presence and their professionalism have accompanied viewers through the eras.
The exhibition is dedicated to all women in television, including those who work behind the screen. With it we mark the 100th anniversary of Estonian broadcasting.
