There are soaring moments that stay in the memory for ever. There are sporting events we follow in the media that make the heart beat faster, and there are voices that bring those sporting moments to life for us.

01 — OVERVIEW
The exhibition in brief
The Tallinn TV Tower exhibition “Collected Moments” brings visitors the stories of three legendary Estonian sports reporters through personal and work-related objects that once belonged to them.
On display are accreditation cards, souvenirs and keepsakes from competitions that have found their way into the Estonian Sports and Olympic Museum, telling stories both of the great events and of the eras in which they took place. These are fragments of sporting history that carry emotion, tension and joy, moments many of us experienced through the radio or the television.
THREE LEGENDS
Toomas Uba
Sports reporter
A towering figure of Estonian sports journalism, whose voice accompanied viewers through legendary championships and Olympic Games.
Lembitu Kuuse
Sports reporter
A master of the commentary box, whose notes on display reveal how a good sports report comes about.
Raul Rebane
Sports reporter
A reporter and commentator of many years, who has brought part of his collection of competition mugs to the exhibition.
02 — THE WORK OF A REPORTER
A look into the working process of a commentator
The exhibition offers a rare chance to look into the working process of a sports commentator. A particular treat on display is the set of commentary notes by Lembitu Kuuse, which gives a sense of how a good sports report comes about.
On the objects you will find familiar names, dates and symbols of great competitions. Which of those competitions do you remember? Where did you experience those sporting moments?

03 — EXHIBITION SERIES
Part of the series “Tallinn speaking! A Century on Air”
“Collected Moments. The stories of Toomas Uba, Lembitu Kuuse and Raul Rebane through objects” is part of the exhibition series “Tallinn speaking! A Century on Air”, created at Tallinn TV Tower for the 100th anniversary of Estonian broadcasting. Several more exhibitions and education programmes will open within the series this year. In 2026 the TV Tower operates under the banner of Estonian Broadcasting 100.
The exhibition has been created in cooperation with the Estonian Sports and Olympic Museum, Estonian Maritime Museum, Estonian Broadcasting Museum, Raul Rebane and Aare Baumer. The exhibition is curated by Kertu Saks.
