The outdoor area of the Tallinn TV Tower is open to the public and free of charge during the summer period. Access may be closed in autumn-winter due to safety reasons, such as falling icicles from the tower. Entry to the TV Tower requires a ticket. Ticket sales are available at the souvenir shop and at the entrance area on the 2nd floor
Restrooms – toilets are located on the 1st floor, next to the Telestudio; at the entrance area on the 2nd floor and on the observation deck on the 21st floor
Lifts – there are 2 lifts in the TV Tower that take visitors to the 21st-floor viewing platform. Lift access is available from the souvenir shop on the 1st floor and at the entrance area on the 2nd floor
Cloakroom – unattended coat storage is available next to the souvenir shop. Lockable storage lockers are also available, please request a token from the experience guide at the souvenir shop
Baggage – large bags and suitcases are not allowed inside the TV Tower. Please use the storage lockers or speak to the experience guide at the souvenir shop for assistance
Strollers and wheelchairs – TV Tower is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. Fire safety regulations permit transporting up to 2 strollers or wheelchairs simultaneously in the tower’s lift
Pets – with the exception of guide dogs for the blind and service dogs on duty, pets are not allowed inside or outside the TV Tower
Parking – car parking is available in front of the TV Tower, with designated accessible parking spaces marked. Information on parking can be found here. There are also 2 parking spots for buses located in front of the TV Tower
Lost and found – if you find something at the TV Tower, please contact the experience guide. If you lose something, please contact the experience guide or call +372 5911 9335. Lost items are kept at the TV Tower for up to 3 months.

Дурная голова ногам покоя не даёт - все время говорит про меня Серёжа 😅 потому что вместо того, чтобы поспать хотя бы до 7.30 в выходные (дольше Клим не даст), я вскочила в 5 утра и в 9.30 уже была в Таллинне. На этот раз в развлекательной программе была Таллинская телебашня и Ботанический сад. Телебашня в тумане навевает мысли об НЛО, да и символ-талисман у них соответствующий - инопланетянин Эти. Очень понравились цветные витражи Долорес Хоффман на втором этаже. Да и сама башня весьма любопытная, но делать там особо нечего, видимо поэтому время посещения официально ограничивается одним часом. Вид со смотровой площадки на высоте 170 метров мог бы быть впечатляющим, если бы не туман 😅
Ботанический сад тоже оказался прекрасен, особенно для такого любителя фотографировать листочки и цветочки, как я. Там сейчас ещё и временная экспозиция "Вкусы мира" проходит, мне, как человеку, связанному с кулинарией, было очень интересно посмотреть.
Tallinn: Radtour 2 🏖 Der Strand von Pirita ist wirklich schön! Da ist eine Strandbar und Hamsi kann seiner Lieblingsbeschäftigung nachgehen: Schaukeln am Strand. Der Radweg führt weiter durch einen schönen Wald.
🌴 Nächster Stopp: der botanische Garten. Im Gewächshaus gibt es tropische, subtropische und Wüsten-Pflanzen. Von hier kann man schon den Fernsehturm sehen.
👀 Von der 170m hohen Aussichtsplattform des Fernsehturms hat man einen 360-Grad-Blick auf die Umgebung. Dann geht`s mit dem Rad am Meer entlang zurück nach Tallinn - fast durchgängig auf super ausgebauten Radwegen. Tallinn ist die fahrradfreundlichste Stadt, in der Hamsi jemals war.
🗓 Und weil`s so schön war, schwingt sich Hamsi morgen nochmal aufs Rad.
Tallinn TV tower stands 314m high and it is the highest building in Estonia. The construction of it was finished in 1980, just in time for the Olympics. Sailing events of that years Olympics took place in Estonia and so did all the broadcasting of all the events. This is the tower they were broadcasted from.
It is still functional and used for telecommunications, but it is now open to public and you can see the panoramic 360° views from the viewing platform that is 170m high. It also houses a restaurant/bar at that height with amazing views and exhibitions.

Teletorni arhitektid on David Bassiladze ja Juri Sinis, insenerid Vladimir Obõdov ja Jevgeni Ignatov. Torn koosneb 190 meetri kõrgusest raudbetoontüvest ja sellele kinnitatud 124-meetrisest metalltornist. Torni all on kahekorruseline hoone seadmetele, vestibüülidele ja konverentsikeskusele. Torni läbimõõt on all 15,2 m ja seina paksus all on 50 cm. 140 meetri kõrgusel on torni läbimõõt 8,2 m. Ehitamiseks kulus 10 000 m3 betooni ja 1900 tonni terast. Torni kogumass on umbes 25 000 tonni.
