ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

The cluster exhibition “Tallinn speaking! A Century on Air” is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Estonian broadcasting and takes the visitor on a journey through a whole century.

Step with us into an age when radio was a great innovation and a window on the world, then try out the newest media tools in ReelsLab, the digital media laboratory of the TV Tower, where your visit turns into a short video. The exhibition opens up the story of media through the people who shaped it, through technological achievements and through stories of everyday life. Tallinn TV Tower, which played an important part in the century of Estonian broadcasting, is exactly the right place to tell them.

TALLINNA TELETORN: 20. Augusti Klubi liikmete ajaloolised meenutused aitavad kaasa uue näituse valmimisele

Meil oli au võõrustada 20. Augusti Klubi liikmeid - inimesi, kes võtsid 20. augustil 1991 vastu ajaloolise otsuse Eesti iseseisvuse taastamise kohta.

Kohtumisel jagasid nad oma isiklikke mälestusi 1991. aasta augusti pöördelistest sündmustest. Need väärtuslikud meenutused annavad olulise panuse 2027. aasta mais Teletornis avatava interaktiivse näituse „Ööpäev vabaduseni. Tallinna Teletorn 1991“ valmimisse.

Näitus toob külastajateni lood inimestest, kelle julgus, otsusekindlus ja usk vabadusse aitasid taastada Eesti iseseisvuse.

Täname südamest 20. Augusti Klubi liikmeid usalduse, sisuka kohtumise ja ajalooliste mälestuste jagamise eest!
