ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The aim of the programme is to introduce pupils to the different sources of information that carry historical value. After the programme a pupil notices such sources and knows how to use them.
ETI, the mascot of the TV Tower, takes part in the programme. We also look at the stained glass work “Television is a window to the world” as a historical source. On the viewing platform on the 21st floor we look out over Tallinn, find the historical sources around us and discuss what the surroundings of the TV Tower looked like 500 years ago.
The TV Tower is a historical symbol and a source of stories, not merely the place where the programme happens.
What makes the programme unique is the chance to explore a real and working TV Tower, a historical symbol and a source of stories.
